Sound recordings from 1966 Biesiada Folkloru Ziemi Kaliskiej<\/em> event (Folklore Festival of Kalisz Region<\/em>) , the properties of the Culture and Arts Centre in Kalisz, are a little archival complex that is a part of the Polish traditional music \u2013 phonographic heritage <\/em>project. The event was happening from 16th to 17th of November 1996 in Sycow near Kalisz and it was recorded on twelve cassette tapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the tapes we can find i.a. the solists: Stanis\u0142aw Musielak from Piwonice, Boles\u0142awa Mielicka from Biadki and J\u00f3zef Lis from Tursk, as well as following groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The repertuar presented in the recordings of 1966 Biesiada Folkloru Kaliskiego is mainly vocal and often vocal-instrumental, rarely instrumental. Artists were s performing with groups in most cases, some of the solists sigers were members of those groups. There were also a couple of genre scenes.The documentation of the recordings collection from the Centre of Culture and Art in Kalisz within the Polish traditional music \u2013 phonographic heritage <\/em>project has been digitalized and developed by Ewelina Grygier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
