Sound recordings from 1966 Biesiada Folkloru Ziemi Kaliskiej event (Folklore Festival of Kalisz Region) , the properties of the Culture and Arts Centre in Kalisz, are a little archival complex that is a part of the Polish traditional music – phonographic heritage project. The event was happening from 16th to 17th of November 1996 in Sycow near Kalisz and it was recorded on twelve cassette tapes.
On the tapes we can find i.a. the solists: Stanisław Musielak from Piwonice, Bolesława Mielicka from Biadki and Józef Lis from Tursk, as well as following groups:

The repertuar presented in the recordings of 1966 Biesiada Folkloru Kaliskiego is mainly vocal and often vocal-instrumental, rarely instrumental. Artists were s performing with groups in most cases, some of the solists sigers were members of those groups. There were also a couple of genre scenes.The documentation of the recordings collection from the Centre of Culture and Art in Kalisz within the Polish traditional music – phonographic heritage project has been digitalized and developed by Ewelina Grygier.
