Etnofon.pl is one of the few Digital Repositories I like to return to during my research work. The well-designed database, intuitive search options and logically grouped content make this phonographic digital library an excellent tool for researching folklore. Also interesting is the Authors’ idea that Etnofon should associate other Polish institutions that have music archives. This, in my opinion, is still lacking in current digitization efforts in our country, and thanks to such projects, we have a chance to complete traditional music resources in one – technically well-developed – place. This increases the accessibility of such collections and makes them gain a second, virtual life.
